OMG I Made A Card!! lol

As most of you who read my blog and those of you who know me personally know...I don't do cards....unless I absolutely have to...and it's basically out of being cheap! lol I know that I have all the stuff to make cards, so I just can't bring myself to spend 6 dollars on a hallmark or something! lol Lately, however, I've been getting the urge to use my Copics a little more, and making cards is probably the best way to do that I guess...and it was my mom's birthday...and so this card was born! I love this stamp, and I know it has nothing to do with birthdays, but I just wanted to color it, so I made it to do with birthdays...so there! lol I just love those Bellas with the girls in coffee cups! they're so cute! I thought since I don't get to use pink a lot I'd take advantage of the fact that I was making a girl card (and not scrapbooking my boys!) But I still had to use brown with it because it's the only way I like pink! hehe Anyway, I hope you all like it!!

A Very Merry Un-Birthday to Me! (Blog Candy!!)

So, I've been wanting to do some BLOG CANDY for quite a while now (it's my first time!), but I couldn't think of a reason...so I made one up! People give away candy for their birthdays, but mine isn't until January and I didn't want to wait that long, so, as a hardcore Alice in Wonderland fan, I'm celebrating my Un-Birthday with some BLOG CANDY to give away!!

There's too many things to give you an itemized list, but I'll break it down for you a bit! cuttin er close! lol

Nothing like getting in under the wire! lol This page was for a challenge at the PageMaps Blog. It ends tonight at midnight! lol! Anyway, this page took me FOREVER!! Do you ever have one of those projects that you're just soooo not into?! I hated this page for the longest time while I was making it, and I almost scrapped it a few times, but now that it's all put together and finished, I quite like it! I used the new Basic Grey Oliver paper which I LOVE! and Quickutz of course! I'm feeling really lazy right now, and I can't remember everything that I used and I'm not near my stuff...so that's all you get to know about this page! LOL I know...kinda pathetic eh?! lol oh well, I'm sick and don't feel like getting up! So THERE! hehe! anyway, go check out the page maps blog it's great! it's got lots of inspiration in sketches and whatnot! Oh yeah, the challenge was to do a take on this sketch and use these three colors in it:

My Boys (I'm slowly catching up!)

Okay, before I show you my latest layout, I just have to show you the cutest picture in the world! This is my middle son Caleb, he's got the biggest eyes in the world! He's freakin cute, and he's my little challenge! He doesn't do anything he doesn't want to, and he bugs his big brother like no one else! But I'm sure they'll get a long a lot better by next year when Caleb is a little older! It's very hard to say no to those eyes though! lol


I'm starting to get a little caught up on my scrapbooking...but the way I take pictures I'll NEVER finish(not that I want to finish scrapbooking, but it would be nice to see the giant stack of pics getting smaller!) I read an article about photo maintenance recently though and it made me realize that I don't HAVE to keep every picture I take. I'm a bit of a picture hoarder! Anyway, I found these pics in my stash and I couldn't believe there was actually some pics of me and my boys together! I'm usually the one behind the camera, so it was nice to have some with me in them! We were at our family's cabin at Lac La Hache last summer.

Here's my take on this Challenge:

As soon as I saw the pics of the I Pod's I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do, and I knew that these pics would be perfect for this LO! I used the Quickutz alphabet "rockstar" which I think is kind of fitting for this layout,I also used a quickutz flourish border underneath the title and all the papers are from BoBunny.
