My Baby Graduated from Preschool Today!! And a Creative Accents Color Challenge!

So, my 4 year old son graduated from Preschool today! I was a little bit emotional over it I must say! Time just goes by way too fast and I can't believe he'll be starting Kindergarten in September! It was quite adorable! They did a little grad ceremony for the kids that were starting school in the fall. The kids all wore little grad caps and capes and came out in a line holding flowers to give to their parents! Then they had a little party and their teacher Margaret gave them all a grad present and blessed them. It was awesome (but a little sad!) I'm glad that I have two more kids to send to preschool there too! It's a great school! Here are a few pics of the little "ceremony".

He came out of the back room of the preschool with his little "cap and gown" on wearing the biggest scowl on his face, and I'm not sure why, he just was NOT impressed to have to participate I think, and I had to make faces at him to get him to smile for some pictures, but I guess I must've looked really goofy, cause I got a couple really cute smiles out of him!

Alright, so now, onto the Creative Accents May Color Challenge!! We were challenged to use these three colors in a project, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color combo!!!

It worked out perfectly that it just happened to be these colors because I have been wanting to use this picture for a long time and the background just so happened to be one of the three colors in this challenge, and I'm really happy with how it turned out! The picture is of my husband Chris's very first fly he ever tied (the Woolly Bugger) He did such a good job, I was so proud of him!! I actually put the real fly in the LO too!

I used bazzil cardstock for the background and also the textured (bubbly) blue cardstock too. The PP that I cut the flourishes from is Basic Grey Nook and Pantry and the Green PP is from Crate Paper. The buttons are Bo Bunny and I used Distress Inks on the edges of the paper and I also sprayed a little Glimmer Mist here and there to jazz it up! I used a button package to hold the real "Woolly Bugger" (btw Isn't that the funniest name?!) The flourishes were cut with Quickutz and so was the title I used the new English Rose alphabet that I'm Totally in love with! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed all my little pics of my first baby's grad and my Wooly Bugger! lol
Cheers!!

Welcome Kieran!

Well, it's been just over 2 weeks since my beautiful little boy was born! Kieran Lucas Moore was born on May 6th, at 4:03pm weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs 3 oz! He is amazing and I am totally in love all over again! My oldest son Ethan is too! My 15 month old Caleb isn't quite sure if he is or not, but he seems to like him enough! Life has become totally busy and hectic, but I'm loving it! It is not without it's meltdowns (had one today actually lol) but I didn't expect it to be easy. I know however that although my life is busy now with 2 little babies, it will get easier! I can't complain though, I actually did get some time to scrapbook a couple nights in a row! I haven't had time to snap some pics of my pages or anything yet, but I'll get there! I did have time tonight to upload some pics of my new little cutie on the first day of his life, so here they are! Enjoy!

19 pics!! woohoo!!

This page took me FOREVER to finish!! I had the pics all glued and everything pretty much done on it, but I couldn't decide how to embellish it!! I found it hard because I didn't want to make it even more busy than it is already, with it's 19 pictures altogether! I have never made a page with so many pics! But I TOTALLY feel like I've put a (teeeeeny) dent in my ever growing pile of pics at least! I ended up just adding a few flowers to it to keep it simple. I used the new Tim Holtz cutting dies on either side of the grid, and I must say that I think I'm in love! The new dies are SOOOOOO cool I think I need to get a job that actually pays money so I can afford them! LOL The PP is from Crate Paper, and I think it's my new favourite line! I just love all the patterns and colors together! I've been trying to use more stamps lately in my layouts, because I'm addicted to buying them, but I hardly ever make cards, therefore, I hardly ever use them! So on this LO I thought it would be perfect to use my Stamp of the Month from Creative Accents! It's the Rainy Day Changito set from Stampendous. Those monkeys are adorable! I just love them! And I must say they were perfect for this LO! I colored them with pencil crayons (some borrowed from Creative Accents) and I used a few layers of Diamond Glaze on the puddles. I quite like how this LO turned out, and I'm definately impressed with the amount of pics on the page!

I've got 2 weeks left until my due date, but I'm hoping that I don't have to wait that long! Who knows? Maybe I'll get one more LO in before becoming a mother of 3!!

Easter Memories

I've been on a roll lately, getting some scrappin done! It's like I'm "scrap nesting" getting my scrapbooking in before the baby comes! I took some time yesterday while I was taking advantage of having only 1 kid at home (Ethan was in Big Lake at Nana and Papa's having a sleepover with his cousins) to organize my pictures into pages I'd like to scrapbook. Hopefully it will make it easier and faster to get my pages done! I was going to get a hole bunch of cleaning done yesterday while Caleb napped...then I thought to myself, it's going to be a loooong time before I only have 1 kid at home again! So, I had some me time and went through my pics! Of course I ended up paying for it today! You never truly do get a day off do you?! lol Oh well, it was definately worth it! Anyway, I found all these pics of when Ethan was Caleb's age (around 15 months) and I did this page of his first family Easter egg Hunt. I used American Crafts and Imaginesce PP, quickutz: scallop border, Fiesta, Heidi Swapp and Holiday Alphabets and Nesting Ovals, Prima flowers, Close to My Heart brads (colored with Copics) and Dollorama bling! Hope you all enjoy! Thanks for taking the time to stop by my neck of the woods!

Bro in Law's B-Day Card

I have to admit that I don't even know when my Brother in Law's birthday is, but I know it was some time in March! I know I'm a bit late, but better late than never I guess! I'm not much of a card maker, but I do love this little lizard! I've had this stamp for like a year and haven't used it, but I thought it was so cute when I saw it, I had to have it! I used Basic Grey papers from the Mellow collection, and bazzil cardstock (gotta love Craft!) I colored the lizard with my Copics, and I have to admit it's been so long since I've used them I forgot how to! I had to remember how to blend with them! I guess that means I'll have to do more coloring in the near future!
enjoy! And Happy Easter everyone!!

All moved in (almost) and ready to go!!

Well, we're finally in our new house and it's all ours!! I'm so excited to finally own a house!! It feels great, although I'm extremely broke now! lol I guess it just means I'll actually have to use my scrap stash instead of constantly buying new stuff for a while! Creative Accents might start feeling the pinch! lol
We're most of the way unpacked. I've got my scraproom unpacked as far as I can use it at least anyway! Our main floor is pretty much finished, we just have to paint one more wall and we'll be finished the living room. I will be posting pics soon. I will have to scan my before pics to post because I had a faulty memory card and it deleted all my pics! Thankfully I had JUST printed them all, so I didn't totally loose them, but it was still rather annoying!
Our new baby's room is painted and by my husband's next set of days off it will be finished! Which is a good thing, because I am only 4 weeks away from my due date now! And I must tell you, I've never made it to my due date with either of my first two boys. Who knows? This could be the one that wants to stay in late...it's quite impossible to tell! But I do know that they'll only let him stay in for 10 days after my due date...so I am certain that I will have a baby 5 weeks and 3 days from now for sure! lol
Ethan and Caleb are sharing a room, and that room was the first one to be painted and finished. My wonderful, hard working husband finished our bathroom a few days ago too! Thank God too, as the walls were painted a horrible grape purple color! not a bad color, just way too much to have in one room!
I have even had a little time to do some scrapping! This page took me forever to put together. I had the idea in my head, but I couldn't figure out how I wanted to execute it. Once I put it together, I didn't really like it...something was off...I had started by using grey cardstock as the background paper, then when I came home from the crop and had another chance to look at it, I put it on a blue PP from the cogsmo line and it all came together quite nicely!

So, I am going to try my hardest now to post regularly here, now that I am getting more settled...however I can't promise anything, due to my new little bundle who will be arriving shortly! I will definately keep everyone posted on that and post pics and his name when he comes!!

Ciao for now!!
