Well, it's a new year, and with it there is ALWAYS resolutions, and however lame it might seem (because it seems to be the same every year), mine is *still* weight loss. I came across this blog that has totally inspired me though, and I have found a way to keep myself accountable. Her name is
Cathy Zielske and her slogan is
"Move More, Eat Less". I think that is a very simple way to look at it, but it's really all we ever need to do to be healthy (as long as we're eating healthy foods mostly too). She started her weight loss journey last year and documented the whole thing in a scrapbook!! I love the idea of creating a monthly scrapbook page with all the details of your progress. It is definately a way to hold me accountable because I won't want to scrapbook (and blog) a layout in which I haven't lost weight! So, I think I've got that resolution covered.
My other resolution is to be more organized. I am always quite chaotic because my organizational skills are severely lacking. I resolve to organize my time better so that I have more time to play with my kids without my house becoming a giant disaster too...I have to find a way to get it all done in the day...anyone know of a way to add a few extra hours to the day?!
I think that loosing weight will actually help me with my other goal as well, because I'll have more energy to devote to my kids and my house as long as I first devote some time to myself!
There are always more things I'd like to resolve to do, but it's been my experience that if you try to do too many things at once, nothing gets done at all! So, for now, those are my goals.
