Wait...you mean it's NOT still December?!

Ok. So I know December is close to being 2 months behind us now, but I'm still stubbornly plugging away at my December Daily album. I refuse to have this be one of my projects that I start with great intent, then lose interest on because it's taking too long, or the season is over. So here's a few more pages that I've finished on my album.

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea what days these were (except for Ethan's birthday party day {14th} just because I remember the day we did his party) because I haven't done any of the journaling on the album yet. I have decided to get all the pages finished before doing the journaling and dating.

I'm not going to go into huge detail about the products I've used, because quite frankly, I just can't remember! But I have been using a lot of the Basic Grey Jovial line for the paper (I went a little crazy buying up all of that line I could get!) and of course some fab Tim Holtz dies and random other cool stuff! I had some time at the "Chocolate Crop" at Creative Accents (my fav LSS) to get quite a bit more of this album finished, but I just haven't had time to photograph them yet, so stay tuned! My goal is to finish this album before March starts!

A Chocolatey Challenge

Well, it's that time again! Creative Accents is having another challenge, and this one might just get you craving some delectable goodies! And hopefully it gets you craving some time to get creative too and join in with us!!
The challenge is called "For the LOVE of CHOCOLATE" and here are the details:

The idea is to let the theme inspire you... could be a valentine's project, could be anti-valentines & pro-chocolate, could be about your love of chocolate, love of your family... the basic requirements are that your project
- includes some shade of 'chocolate' (ie. brown) on it
- highlights products found at Creative Accents

When I found out about this challenge I was sure I could find a picture of one of my boys with a cute chocolate covered smile, but I didn't find any in my stash of pictures, and I've kind of made a resolution to scrap the pics that I have already printed before I print more. But I did however find a super cute pic of Ethan on his first birthday with cake all over his face and a sad look on his face. Now I'm pretty sure he was sad because he had a tummy ache from eating his whole giant piece of cake, but I thought the look was perfect for the caption on my page...So here's my take on the challenge. It was a fun one, I hope you all decided to join in!

Here's what I used (and it was all found at my favourite LSS, Creative Accents!): PP:sassafrass lass, DCWV-Greenstack, October Afternoon, Apple Glimmer Mist, Alphabet Stickers: Lush, and Thickers, Tim Holtz: Distress Inks, Alterations (scallops), stamps and Vagabond, Adhesive: Zip Dry and American Crafts pop dots.
