My Baby Graduated from Preschool Today!! And a Creative Accents Color Challenge!

So, my 4 year old son graduated from Preschool today! I was a little bit emotional over it I must say! Time just goes by way too fast and I can't believe he'll be starting Kindergarten in September! It was quite adorable! They did a little grad ceremony for the kids that were starting school in the fall. The kids all wore little grad caps and capes and came out in a line holding flowers to give to their parents! Then they had a little party and their teacher Margaret gave them all a grad present and blessed them. It was awesome (but a little sad!) I'm glad that I have two more kids to send to preschool there too! It's a great school! Here are a few pics of the little "ceremony".

He came out of the back room of the preschool with his little "cap and gown" on wearing the biggest scowl on his face, and I'm not sure why, he just was NOT impressed to have to participate I think, and I had to make faces at him to get him to smile for some pictures, but I guess I must've looked really goofy, cause I got a couple really cute smiles out of him!

Alright, so now, onto the Creative Accents May Color Challenge!! We were challenged to use these three colors in a project, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color combo!!!

It worked out perfectly that it just happened to be these colors because I have been wanting to use this picture for a long time and the background just so happened to be one of the three colors in this challenge, and I'm really happy with how it turned out! The picture is of my husband Chris's very first fly he ever tied (the Woolly Bugger) He did such a good job, I was so proud of him!! I actually put the real fly in the LO too!

I used bazzil cardstock for the background and also the textured (bubbly) blue cardstock too. The PP that I cut the flourishes from is Basic Grey Nook and Pantry and the Green PP is from Crate Paper. The buttons are Bo Bunny and I used Distress Inks on the edges of the paper and I also sprayed a little Glimmer Mist here and there to jazz it up! I used a button package to hold the real "Woolly Bugger" (btw Isn't that the funniest name?!) The flourishes were cut with Quickutz and so was the title I used the new English Rose alphabet that I'm Totally in love with! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed all my little pics of my first baby's grad and my Wooly Bugger! lol
Cheers!!
