A goofy picture and a sad goodbye

Good morning Bloggers! This is my second post for today, so if you'd like to see my SIL's birthday card, scroll down please!

Last night I went to Walmart to print some pictures (do any of you have a hard time remembering to say "print" instead of "develop"?! I do it all the time!!) and I found these photos on my memory card! I laughed so hard! I'm guessing my sister must have grabbed my camera and taken these when I was sick over the holidays because I don't remember this at all, but I'm sure glad someone captured these!! It's pictures like this that make me smile so much and remind me to take time to be goofy and play! I was finally able to use all that girly paper that I buy because I love it, but never use because I have boys! What better way to capture a dress up moment than with purses and pink?!

I used my Silhouette to cut that tag out and then I did something really fun with it...I put a sketch pen in place of the blade and did my journaling on it too!! How fun is that?! I just made sure I didn't take my cut piece of paper out of the machine before I sketched the journaling! I just love this machine more and more every day!!

This layout was inspired  by Sketchy Thursdays last and final sketch!! I know right?! I'm sooo sad that they're closing up for good! So knowing it was my last time to play with them, I had to play along! I'm so sad to see you guys go! I loved playing along with all your fab sketches!! *sad face*
I'm also entering this into the challenge over at Scrapfit, which is to scrap the simple things in life that you cherish...nothin quite like playing dress up with the boys is there?! Also, Frosted Designs is challenging us to use paint! How fun?! I love painting on my layouts!

Well there you have it! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment! I do enjoy reading them and I really appreciate it!! Time to go make the boys some lunch! Have a great day and try to enjoy this FREEEEZING weather if you're in Canada!

Too funny! I have some great dress-up pics of Nolan when he was around 4 or 5 - he doesn't quite get into it like that anymore, sniff! Great layout, love that you got to use some pink!!! I'm glad you were working when my dad brought your card by, nice that I was able to use only one middle man! What are you working on next? I just finished making a counterfit kit! Thanks for turning me onto that site, I LOVE it! Now I need to clean up before I go play, probably won't have any time because this kitchen's such a disaster! Hugs, Roxy.
