Deepest Sympathy

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a crafty weekend so far! I'm working at my LSS and I've been hoping to get some time to play, but it's been sooooo busy!! I did manage to get this sympathy card done last night after work though. It's never fun to have to make these, but it does need to be done unfortunately. I used the sympathy set from Kraftin Kimmie and a new set from Hero Arts. They make dies to go with their stamps now! Yay!!

I used a cute little nestie in the middle, and a sizzix embossing folder on some neenah paper to make my cute little cluster. I also used Distress Ink in stormy sky to color the ribbon...added a few little pearls to the center of the flower and topped it all off with some smootch paint to color the stamen?! is that what the middle thingy is called in a flower?! I have no idea! Maybe some of you gardeners or flower lovers out there can help me out with that! hehe :)  The sentiment originally said "With Deepest Sympathy" but I really wanted to use the new Hero Arts stamp and die and it didn't all fit in there, so I just used the last part...hey it works right?!

I'm gong to add this card into a few challenges: Stamptacular Sunday is "Seeing Spots", Paper Sundaes wants fussy cutting, and I used the sketch from CPS.
I'm hoping to get some actual scrapbooking done this weekend, but ya never know...this working thing could just kill me! lol

Hey Sarah, hope you're having fun at work! I absolutely love this card even though it was made for a sad reason. The design and colours are gorgeous! Hugs, Roxy.
