1 gum boot, a toque and some killer shades :)

Hello! Hello! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend? I did, other than the fact that we were supposed to go camping, but decided against it due to weather...but all in all, the weekend was still pretty great!

I wanted to show you a layout that I made of my middle son Caleb. He is such a ham and he loves to dress up in anything and everything (or in this case, close to  nothing!)
These photos of him just cracked me up and I couldn't wait to scrap them. I fussy cut the one picture, because I was going to tuck it behind the truck until I realized that you wouldn't be able to see the best part of the picture-the fact that he's only wearing one gum boot! So I cut out the bottom half of him and just had him kinda standing on top of the truck...I kinda love how it turned out :)

I used one of my new Tim Holtz stamp sets and of course the gadget gears die which I cut out with some corrugated cardboard. I hid the journaling inside the envelope (which is another one of Tim's fab new dies). I've been really into the vintage cars and travel themes lately...can't seem to get enough of it :)

Well, what do ya think?! Is it weird that Caleb's feet are cut out? Or do ya like it? I like it, but I tend to march to the beat of my own drum :)

I'm entering this layout into the challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and Show: Texture.

Have a great week!
